KT-1 has excellent features to give the lower「Stalling Speed」¹ and the better「Spin」² recovery than its rival models, and its enters and escapes from the inverted spin easily. In addition, it is the most suitable air craft for flight training because of splendid flight performance at low speed with great stability in landing/takeoff. Moreover, it can be eguipped with「0 ft-0 kts」 ejection seat to help escape from the cockpit under a standstill and it is compatible with existing aircraft thanks to the selection of the latest standard equipment. Providing great performance, safety and efficient management, it reaches over 10,000 hour accident-free flying and endeavors to raise female pilots.
KT-1 can perform superior menuevers such as 360-degree rotation, steep turns, hyper-slow flight, and vertical rotation than similar aircraft like, Swiss Pilatus PC-9 and American T-6A.
KT-1 can be equipped with either an analog or 'glass' cockpit configuration. Both types are employed by the Republic of Korea Air Force. In terms of appearance, the KT-1 resembles the Pilatus PC-9.
